Population in Tempe's Urban Core is projected to double over the next 20 years. The Urban Core Master Plan, Urban Code District and Development Bonus Program are Tempe's efforts to plan for the next 20 years of growth in the city’s central core. The Tempe Urban Core was developed through a two-year public planning process.
We encourage our members to attend the Urban Core Open House on January 23, 2020 from either 11:00 am to 1:00 pm or 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm to ask questions, talk with staff, and provide feedback helpful to their community.

Tempe Community Council Needs Volunteers |
| TCC is currently in need of volunteers to serve on TCC's Agency Review process, by the end of January.
Each year, the Tempe City Council and Tempe Community Council (TCC) allocate and administer about $1.2 million in grants to local human services organizations. This funding goes to assist agencies in delivering needed programs and services for children, families, homeless individuals, seniors and more.

The City of Tempe is looking for businesses with big ideas to help bring its new recreation plan for the parks around Tempe Town Lake to life. The Rio Salado Master Plan, which recently was approved by the Tempe City Council, calls for new activities in six specified zones around Tempe Town Lake.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE WEEK OF January 20, 2020
