This event welcomes community, educational, political and civic leaders for brunch while Representative Greg Stanton provides an update on federal issues affecting our district, state, and country.

Emerging Issues Forum: Workforce Programs for Business
Finding qualified workforce is one of the largest challenges facing the business community today. This month's Emerging Issues Forum will feature speakers who represent local, state and military programs that help employers connect with talent they might not find otherwise.

Programs to be discussed include the ARIZONA Career Readiness Credential (ACRC), the Arizona Coalition for Military's Skill Bridge Employer Program and Career Ready Tempe. Breakfast is included.

This summer, the Tempe Chamber of Commerce and the City of Tempe will launch Career Ready Tempe, a 2-year youth workforce pilot program intended to tackle barriers to employability for income-eligible youth and help employers create a robust youth talent pipeline.

Public Meeting on West Tempe Industrial Area
The City of Tempe will host a public meeting to discuss potential opportunities for the Broadway Corridor Revitalization. Those who cannot attend the meeting may provide feedback through Tempe Forum,

The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29 at MAC6, 1430 W Broadway Rd., #201

Tempe Community Council is seeking individuals to help determine how Tempe human services dollars are distributed for fiscal year 2019-20. These dollars provide services to those in Tempe who need assistance with homelessness, basic needs, senior care, emergency shelter and more
