Unconscious bias, cultural misunderstanding, language differences, communication errors and stereotypes can have a negative impact on human communication and performance. The good news is we can learn to understand others despite our differences and learn to build powerful business relationships with a diverse group of individuals.

This session will teach you how create powerful connections by introducing The L.U.C.A.S. Approach®. Specifically, because of this highly interactive program, you will be able to:

1. Describe the 4 types of noise (internal, external, emotional and cultural) and the impact each has on communication.

2. Apply skills such as the S.O.L.E.R. technique, active listening, self-disclosure, inclusive language, metacommunication and genuineness to reduce noise and enhance your ability to powerfully connect with a diverse group of people.
