Tax Due Date Extended The Treasury Department and IRS are extending the due date for Federal income tax payments due April 15, 2020, to July 15, 2020, for payments due of up to $10 million for corporations and up to $1 million for individuals - regardless of filing status – and other unincorporated entities. Associated interest, additions to tax, and penalties for late payment will also be suspended until July 15, 2020. For more information tax-related information in regards to the COVID-19 Pandemic, ADOT MVD Scheduled to Transfer Computer Systems The Arizona Department of Transportation Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) is scheduled to transition to a new computer system - requiring an extended system outage between Saturday, April 18 and Tuesday, April 21, 2020. During this time, no MVD services will be available online through ServiceArizona or at MVD and Third Party offices. Community News Tempe Streetcar Update CONSTRUCTION UPDATE WEEK OF March 23, 2020 - [UPDATE] 5th Street/Ash Avenue Intersection: Due to weather delays, crews will continue to work along Ash Avenue at 5th Street from March 20 – March 27 resulting in nightly closures of 5th Street at Ash Avenue. North/southbound through traffic on Ash Avenue will be maintained. Left turns from Ash Avenue onto eastbound 5th Street will be restricted 24/7 during this timeframe. for more details. - Apache Blvd east of Rural Road: Track installation and OCS foundation work continues.
